Core Functions and Roles
Adult Community Corrections
Adult Community Corrections provides structured community-based programs to individuals court-ordered to complete sanctions that fall outside traditional probation or incarceration. Programs are designed to balance accountability with opportunities for rehabilitation, including supervision, work release alternatives, and various treatment-linked activities.

Key responsibilities include:
-
Supervision & Accountability: Monitoring compliance with court-ordered conditions and program expectations.

-
Structured Programming: Offering services that build life skills, promote employment readiness, and facilitate behavioral change.

-
Community Service & Restitution: Directing meaningful community restitution efforts as part of sanctions.

-
Supportive Services: Linking clients to treatment, education, and support systems that address criminogenic needs.

Through these efforts, Community Corrections seeks to reduce reliance on incarceration and provide measurable, positive outcomes for both the individual and the community.
Adult Probation
Adult Probation focuses on supervising people placed under probation by the courts following conviction. The goal is to ensure compliance with legal conditions while guiding individuals through opportunities for rehabilitation and personal growth.

Key responsibilities include:
-
Risk Assessment & Case Planning: Using evidence-based tools to determine supervision intensity and individualized plans.

-
Supervision & Monitoring: Conducting office visits, home visits, community contacts, and drug screening to support accountability.

-
Referral to Services: Connecting clients to treatment services, counseling, job supports, and other community resources.

-
