Johnson County Health Department
Your local Health Department is dedicated to promoting the health and wellness of the citizens of Johnson County, Indiana.
The Health Department responds to community health needs and develops policies and programs designed to promote public health. Our professionally educated staff seek to provide efficient and effective health-related services in the Environmental, Nursing, Vital Records, and WIC divisions.
The Health Department also offers a wide variety of free and/or reduced vaccines and testing.
Locate a Low-Cost Community Health Center Near You
If you can't afford any health plan and don’t qualify for coverage through Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), you can get low-cost health care at a nearby community health center.
How much you pay depends on your income. Community health centers are located in both urban and rural areas. They provide:
