Interested parties may visit the Juvenile Detention Website where the Wellness Policy is publicly available to review as well as ways in which someone could participate with or on the committee.

Yes.

Is any food or beverage being sold or marketed?

No.

Are there at least two goals for nutrition education? Are there any goals that we would like to add?

Yes, and no additional goals are needed.

Are there at least two goals for nutrition promotion? Are there any goals that we would like to add?

Yes and yes, handwashing stations will be added to all living units for easier access to washing hands.

Are there at least two goals for physical education? Are there any goals that we would like to add?

Yes and yes, purchase additional equipment to enhance the curriculum and certify our Program Manager to teach youth the proper weight lighting techniques.

Are there at least two goals for other school based activities? Are there any goals that we would like to add?

Yes. and no additional goals are needed.

What progress has been made in attaining goals?

Most goals are ongoing and are being met regularly. However, the above mentioned goals were added with the hope of improving youth participation during recreation time.

Is the current Wellness Policy promoted publicly/posted?

Yes, the current Wellness Policy is publicly available online as well as within the facility for public viewing.

How will the results of this evaluation be communicated?

The results will be posted online as well as within the facility for public viewing.
